How itWorks
From form to first day, in four steps.
We move at a human pace. Most volunteers go from application to active in about three weeks.
Apply
Tell us a little about yourself, the role you are drawn to, and what hours work for your life. The form is short and there are no wrong answers.
Conversation
We will set up a half-hour call so we can listen, answer questions, and make sure the role is a good fit for both sides. This is not an interview.
Orientation
A two-evening orientation with our staff and current volunteers covering safety, expectations, and what to expect on day one. Snacks included.
Begin
You start. We are with you every step — through your first session, your first hard moment, and the small wins you will not see coming.
